My Steps
So you've chosen your date and booked your venue, you've found THE outfit for your special day and the guest list is still a work in progress. But what happens when it comes to the cake? How do you know what flavour to choose? When will it be delivered? How big will it need to be?
Here is a guide to how your experience with me will look. Let me guide you through your wedding journey and be your cake bestie. Holding your hand through every step of the way and making sure your cake is as perfectly you as possible.
Step one..
It all starts with you getting in touch! I find out all about your wedding, from the decor, to the dress, the flowers, to the invites. I browse your Pinterest board so I can get an idea of the vibe you are going for. All of this will help me along the way to creating your bespoke design. I will then provide you with a rough quote based on the information you have given.
Step two..
What about tasting boxes you ask? Yes, you get a chance to order one of those too (if you wish, but who doesn't like cake!). This is possibly the hardest (and most fun!) part of designing your cake. These are sent out at set dates throughout the year and include seven of my most sumptuous flavours and a few extra little treats to indulge in. I fully recommend setting an evening aside and cracking out the bubbly!

Step three..
As soon as your date is booked in my diary, we can start designing your cake! I will work with you to make sure your cake is absolutely perfect. Then once we finalised the design, I will begin creating your digital cake sketch. This will bring our ideas to life and help you to imagine how your cake will look on the big day. This will also be accompanied by the final price.
Step four..
Once the cake design and flavour is just what you imagined, we will discuss styling. What stand you would like, whether you would like a cake menu, what you would like around it or whether your cake is taking centre stage. There is no point in creating the cake of your dreams and for someone to just pop it in a corner, so I liaise with the other suppliers to arrange delivery and make sure your day runs smoothly.

Final step..
After everything has been confirmed, you will receive your wedding contract. This will outline everything we have discussed and will be the information that I will work from. And once the final balance has been paid, that's it! I will be working away behind the scenes, speaking to your florist, stylist and venue to get everything in place ready for your big day. All you will have to do is sit back and relax in anticipation of your wedding day! If you ever need me (even at 2am when prewedding nerves have set in!) I will be at the end of an email ready to answer any questions you may have.
The most important part of your wedding journey with me is of course getting your date booked. Dates get booked up very quickly, especially if it's a weekend.
